    Description

    Short pants for little boy.  From 1920-30s era.  Given by department store at baby's birth as promotional item.  Original label is torn but can be seen to read "First Pair of Pants-To Be Worn on First Birthday".  Given by clothier in Lapeer, Mich.  Made of a firm texture fabric in formal grey & black stripe.  Designed to be buttoned on to shirt.  Inseam measures 3 1/2 inches; waist measures 20 inches.  Crisp & new - never used.  (Probably too formal for the child from farm estate where this came from).  Thank you for LOOKing AT PHOTOS; they are considered part of the description.
