Vintage Black Cotton 1950s Girls Gym Shorts- High Waist-Winner Brand-Rockabilly

Description

This is a great pair of 1940's-1950's gym shorts.
The label is Winner, Athletic Clothes For Girls, E B Myers, Los Angeles.
They are made of cotton. The color is faded black.
There are 2 buttons going down the side and
an extra on the waist band and to adjust the fit.
There is also a white band of fabric going down the side with
the name Virginia Hulbert. You might be able to bleach that out.
The waist band is 1 1/2" high with belt loops. it's 26" around.
The front and back rise are both 14 1/2".
The hip is 48".
The leg opening are elastic; 12" around with pull to 18".
The elastic pulls well, it has not deteriorated.
These are approx a size 2-4 or juniors 3.
There are no stains, holes or odors.
