TOHO Size 8/0 Japanese glass seed beads, also called rounds / rocailles are perfect for bead weaving or for use as spacers. The versatile 8/0 size is an excellent choice for peyote stitch projects, looming, or even stringing. Bead weavers favor size 8 beads for learning bead weaving stitches because they are easier to see while still being small enough for stability. Size 8 round seed beads fit easily onto 18 gauge wire and .024 beading wire. They can be used with any size beading needle and thread. Toho 8/0 round Japanese seed beads have a very consistent shape and size. They are designed to have a larger hole than other seed beads that allows for even more pass-throughs for thread.
