It's dimmable from 0 to 100% to spare you the inconvenience of jockeying the fixture to and from the subject for the right light intensity. Since this ring light was designed for portraits, selfies, and more, Savage includes two flexible arms, each attached to a smartphone holder that works with most phones.
To make the setup easy to use in all situations, a metal light stand that rises to a maximum height of six feet is included. The light runs on AC power via its 110 to 240V adapter. A reversible 5 x 7' gray / chroma green background is included for classic portraits or to chroma-key in the background of your choice
