also raises the bar on color and control. The Rainbow RGB has a wide color temperature range of 2700 to 10,000K for creative expression.or to match other sources and mixed lighting scenarios, Savage also adds RGB color control, allowing you to select from 360 dimmable colors. From there, you can use the Hue and Saturation button to create literally millions of color combinations.
Savage has also created a free Bluetooth-powered smartphone app for iPhone and Android that adds a multitude of creative options. Among the many effects are a Patterns Function, which accesses effects such as strobe, pulsating, and rainbow; a Mood Function, which picks up ambient sounds and pulses the light to them; and a Music Function, which will pulse in time to your audio library and cycling through various colors.
Another handy feature are the ring-light's power options. The light is ready for worldwide use via its universal power supply, and Savage has included two NP-F750 batteries for outlet-free operation when mains power is unavailable. Run time is approximately 90 minutes in standard daylight mode and 150 minutes in RGB mode at full power. Charging takes approximately six hours. A padded carry bag is included for storage and transport.
