You are bidding on a pair of Men’s Road Mate Safety Leather Work Boots with Steel Toes, Size 12. Worn only once for a few days when I was reporting from an oil platform for a news outlet approximately 30 years ago. The boots were put away in my garage since and I just removed them from storage.
As you can see from the images, the upper non-leather material shows some signs of material fatigue, possibly due to storage in a (hot) garage in Southern California for all that time. However, the leather itself shows little wear and the same goes for the boots’ outsole.
Comfortable to wear, these boots are made for challenging, tough work environments. While not new, they will no doubt keep its future owner as safe as they did me.
