Kuhn Rikon makes opening cans a synch with its newly redesigned Slim Safety Lidlifter and Can Opener. Now with a more comfortable grip and a slim design makes opening cans and lids a snap.
Wing-style handles make it easy to attach lid lifter to the top of the can. Space-saving small size and slim design. Opens pull tab too.
Simple to use
Slide handles apart. Place flat gear on top of the can, the large silver and black gear should rest on the side of the can. Arrow guide above mini pliers should line up with the rim of can. Close handles to attach. Rim of can should be held between the two gears. At this point, you should be able to lift the can with the can opener to know it’s attached.
Grips onto can
Twist knob clockwise and the opener will begin to cut. After a full circle, you will feel less resistance. Stop turning – can is open.
Pull tab
To release, open handles. The can may not look open.
Lid lifter
Use mini-pliers on the side of the opener to remove the lid. Grip rim of the lid between pliers and lift lid cleanly and easily. Ring-pull: Slip ”beak“ into loop; rock back & pull open to open pull tabs.

Instructions for use: 1. Open handles and attach can opener parallel to top of the can; rim between the two lines. Close handles.
2. Twist knob clockwise. Opener will automatically grip lid and begin to cut. After a full circle, you will feel less resistance. Stop – can is open.
3. Open the handles to release.
4. Use Mini-Pliers by opening and closing handles to lift lid cleanly and easily!
5. Pull tabs: slide end under loop of can Tab, hold can firmly and lift up and forward.
Now features a new curved turn knob and pull tab hook.
Opens cans from outer rim and lifts the lid with no sharp edges.
Cuts below the lid to keep from falling in the can.
Works with pull tops and acts as a bottle opener.
