INTEL D8039H from the 1980's - D8039 - 8-Bit Microcontroller Chip - 40-pin DIP

Description

This is an INTEL D8039H chip from 1984 I believe.
It came from a closing down factories extra parts cabinet and was marked as new.  I don't see any signs of it being installed such as solder or marks from a DIP socket.
All the pins are straight.
