    Original Government illustrated UX pioneer postal card mailed in 1890 from Santa Cruz, California, to Saco, Maine.  The card advertises the Hotel Del Monte, located in Monterey, California. Four nice illustrations showing the hotel. One illustration shows its wonderful swimming pool.
    The sender of the card was a person of few words. The message reads as follows: "Am quite well."
    The postal card measures about 3 inches high and about 5 inches wide.
    Nice condition except for a few very minor corner creases. No paper scuffs. No tape. No pin holes.
