    Description

    Figured Curly
    Ropey
Cherry wood veneer 48" x 96" with wood backer (4' x 8' x 1/25"). "AA" grade quality. Photos are representative of the product you will receive which will vary from sheet to sheet in color and grain since it is a natural product. This is especially true of the shape of the figuring, but expect it to cover 50-75% across the sheet.

Other sizes, backers, and unbacked veneer may be available.
Most pictures have been temporarily wet on the lower portion of the veneer to show what the grain may look like when finish is added. Color adjustments have been made to show the color as best as is possible. Photos will rarely be completely accurate in color. Expect some variance.
Product comes with complete application instructions that are simple and clear. Below is general information for most of our products. Make sure you check the listing to see which applies to the above product in particular.
    Thickness
: Paper-backed veneers are generally 1/40” and wood-backed veneers are 1/25”. Raw plain veneer with no backing is about 1/32”-1/42”. Sometimes there are minor tears or splits in raw veneer that may have been taped.
    How to cut
: generally cut with a razor knife or similar tools.
    How to apply
: Paper-backed and wood-backed veneers are generally applied with contact cement. Raw plain veneer is applied with white or yellow wood glue and must have pressure applied while drying.
    How to finish
: most any conventional finishing products can be used with veneer that is applied correctly.
Sometimes veneers have minor splits or tears in them. These are usually taped or repaired in some manner and shouldn’t impact overall satisfaction. Wood products are rarely perfect and some consideration of that may be needed occasionally since this is a natural product.
Some sanding is usually required in order to remove veneer tape or other imperfections. Some veneers may require some minor wood filler.
