    Description

    This uncirculated Egyptian pound banknote bears the signature of Central Bank of Egypt Governor Tarek Hassan Amer. Its color scheme is composed of brown, yellow, pink, and green. Its obverse side showcases the mosque and mausoleum of Sultan Qayetbay in Cairo. Its reverse side honors Rameses II. Various hieroglyphics and art from the Luxor Temple of Amenophis II, cartouches with the names of Nefertari and Rameses II, and the four statues of Rameses II from the Great Temple at Abu Simbel are featured on the reverse side of the note. The note was printed by the Central Bank of Egypt. Its security features include a windowed motion security thread and a watermark of the mask of King Tut-Ankh-Amon. Its dimensions are 140 mm by 70 mm.
