Czech seed beads in the shape of a short roller are called 2cut beads. They are produced using a similar technology to other seed beads, i.e. the cutting of glass rods with a round hole and a hexagonal surface. After cutting, the 2cut beads are fine tumbled and heat polished in order to rid them of any sharp edges.
High quality Czech 10/0 2cut hexagon glass seed beads.  10/0 2cut Czech glass hexagon seed beads have larger holes thus making them easier to use in beadwork. The facets on 10/0 2cut Czech hexagon seed beads are soft giving them a delicate, sparkling appearance.
These facets add an enchanting sparkle to your seed bead designs.  The facets of cut seed beads can leave the edges rather sharp. Be sure to use a durable beading thread such as Fireline, NYMO, SUPERLON or WildFire!  10/0 2cut hexagon seed beads measure approximately 2.1 mm.
