Does the suction cup work on textured stained glass?
A: Always cut the flattest side of the glass. The suction cup is a little over 2 inches across and may not grab glass with grooves preventing suction but you should be able to tape the suction cup down if needed and still cut circles from 3 inches to 16 inches in diameter. Note this comes with metric markings
Has anyone tried cutting a hole in a wine bottle with this?
A: I thought about cutting a hole in a wine bottle but I think it would be pretty tricky, you could do it but it would be difficult because it needs a flat surface to stabilize it. I bought this to cut a hole in the bottom of a glass decanter and I gave up (probable because I lack patience) but it was moving around a lot
Suction cup dia is 2.2 in. (5.5 cm), but what is the smallest diameter I can cut ? I need to cut a 2.3 - 2.4 inch hole in a mirror. (5.8-6.2 cm).
