Our Baldwin Sintered Series Diamond Drills are made to exacting standards. The drills have a 1/2" deep row of diamonds embedded within powdered sintered metal which creates an incredible bond for long lasting consistent drilling.
These sintered diamond drills will outlast any plated or electro formed comparable drill on the market. All Baldwin drills are designed for both the small business glaziers in mind yet they are tough enough for high speed, high production drilling. Our drills give outstanding long lasting results when proper drilling conditions are utilized.
The Baldwin Sintered Series features an extra long 3/8" diameter shank for a positive grip in the drill chuck.
REMINDER: "Dressing" or Sharpening of ANY diamond drill before each use will dramatically increase its its cutting capabilities and minimize "glazing" or dulling of the bit. A Baldwin Dressing Stone is a recommended necessity when working with any Baldwin Sintered Diamond Drill.
CAUTION: All Diamond Drills have a thin wall which makes them EXTREMELY FRAGILE. They are intended for the drilling of flat (plate) glass ONLY, in a true running production type drilling press, see our other items for glass drilling machines. NEVER use in any type of hand drill. The use of these drills in any manner other than as specified above may damage them and will void any warranty. Always wear the proper safety gear including gloves and eye protection when performing any glass working. Work should be performed on a flat, horizontal surface. Failure to follow any of these precautions can result in operator injury.
