Description
African Mahogany wood veneer 24" x 96" on wood backer (2' x 8' x 1/25" thickness). "A" quality grade. Photos are representative of product which will vary in color and grain since this is a natural product. This is the main commercially sold Mahogany in the U.S. Color range can be light pinkish to a slightly darker maroon/violet. Backer is Okuome Mahogany which blends perfectly (shown in last photo). Most stock is lighter in color. Considered Flat Cut grain which means wide grain. Grain runs in longer direction. Some prefer wood backer because it is thicker than paper backer and may cover minor surface imperfections better and may bond better, but both products work well. Most photos are close up views and may be of other sizes. Some photos are wet with water or show finished wood (darker) so the color and grain can be shown more accurately as it may be under finish. Mahogany will darken quite a bit when wet or finished. This product is unfinished. Each sheet is carefully inspected and packaged by our company, not a third party as with many online sellers. Expect quality.Trust the experience, knowledge, and reputation that has served the wood industry and novices since 1995.
