    This souvenir plate measures 10 1/4" across and features an illustration of Ashland High School in Ashland, Kansas.  It was decorated by Clay Decorating Studio in Hamilton Square, NJ, and features some information on the back about the school.
    The first graduating class of 1896 consisted of two members, Effie Walden Smith and Sibyl Van Laningham Davidson.  Superintendent A.E. Neal.
    The present brick building constructed in 1917, L.E. Fitts, Superintendent.
    Accredited by North Central Association in 1922.
    The present Superintendent, J.E. Humphreys.  1,255 have graduated from Ashland High School.
    Condition is excellent with no chips and cracks.  It's a soft cream color with decoration in brown.
